The Trips
How small are the groups, really?+
Capped at 10 travelers. Most departures run with 6–8. You will know everyone by the second evening.
Do I need to be an experienced trekker or diver?+
Each expedition lists a fitness level. Most are accessible to anyone in good general health who can walk 4–6 hours on uneven ground. Iceland snorkeling requires basic swimming comfort; full briefings provided.
Booking & Payment
What's included in the price?+
Lodging, in-country transport, guiding (by James), permits, most meals, and any specialist equipment named in the itinerary. International flights, travel insurance, and personal gear are not included.
What's your cancellation policy?+
Full payment is taken at booking. Cancellations more than 90 days before departure receive a 70% refund. Inside 90 days, the booking is non-refundable — we strongly recommend trip insurance.
Logistics
What about insurance?+
Comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical, and emergency evacuation is required for every expedition. Proof is requested 60 days before departure.
How do we meet up?+
Each expedition lists a meeting point and time. James meets you there. Pre-trip dossiers include arrival logistics, recommended flights, and what to do if you're delayed.
